Reports To: Executive Director of Digital Strategy & Operations

Position Overview: As a Digital Business Analyst in our Digital Transformation Department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and alignment of our digital projects within the healthcare sector. Your primary responsibility will be to validate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all digital initiatives, ensuring they meet our strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare operations and proficiency in EPIC systems. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to analyze complex data, provide insights, and make recommendations that drive digital excellence in healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements for digital projects.
• Elicit and document clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements.

Analysis and Documentation:

• Analyze and document existing business processes, systems, and workflows.
• Create detailed documentation, such as functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.

Digital Solution Design:

• Work with cross-functional teams to design digital solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensure alignment between business goals and digital capabilities.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the development team.
• Present findings, progress, and recommendations to various stakeholders.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform digital solutions.
• Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data requirements are met.

User Experience (UX) Design Collaboration:

• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure user-centered design principles are incorporated into digital solutions.
• Validate that digital solutions meet user expectations and needs.

Quality Assurance:

• Work with quality assurance teams to define test cases and ensure that digital solutions meet quality standards.
• Participate in testing activities to validate that requirements are implemented correctly.

Project Management:

• Assist in project management activities, such as creating project plans, tracking progress, and managing timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

Technology Assessment:

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on business processes.
• Provide recommendations for technology solutions that align with business goals.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Work with teams to implement improvements and optimize digital solutions.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess risks associated with digital projects.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to end-users during the implementation of digital solutions.
• Ensure a smooth transition to new digital processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or change management, ideally in a digital transformation capacity
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong working knowledge of EPIC systems and healthcare operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in data analysis and performance metric evaluation.

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
