Primary Function:
Responsible for the overall maintenance of Online & Mobile Banking systems. Participate in technical research, development, and implementation of new electronic services. Assists in monitoring Online Banking system upgrades, enhancements, and small sized technology projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate Online Banking upgrades and propose relevant solutions for electronic services. Work with management to identify areas of opportunity and gaps in Online Banking & Mobile Banking App. Review work systems to reduce duplication of effort.
- Maintain solid relationship with IT to monitor the effectiveness and use of Online Banking systems and suggest improvements.
- Resolve exceptions and escalation of electronic services issues with members, including eDeposits, eTransfers, Quick Pay, Bill Pay, and other electronic services. Perform diagnostic tests for problem resolution in relation to software failures. Work with CUBUS Support opening cases when needed.
- Manage change and maintenance needs in Online Banking systems, including Test and Staging environments. Monitor the effectiveness and use of the integrated systems, report issues, and suggest improvements.
- Create special reports used by other departments for informational purposes and quality control as requested by management, (electronic services, share draft, payroll, ACH activity, imaging, etc.).
- Perform regular system monitoring to verify integrity and availability of all systems related to electronic services.
- Monitor Remote Services survey comments. Report findings and recommend solutions to provide Service Excellence to Members. Work with management team to address Members' needs. Provide support to Members Questions submitted trough the website.
- Assist and coordinate functions related to Online Banking disaster recovery plan.
- Assist in developing and managing compliance for electronic banking services in conjunction with NACHA regulations and Payment Systems.
- Assist with a comprehensive risk assessment of electronic banking services operations. Ensure the safety and soundness of the Credit Union.
- Maintain proper documentation and prepare necessary notifications. Practice knowledge sharing and ensure Online Banking information is documented. Maintain the CUSource Help Center and Ask Connect electronic services.
- Administer and maintain Online Membership Application system.
- Provide training for staff & new hires. Back up Electronic Processing operations as needed.
- Responsible for processing member information and transactions consistent with BSA policy and procedures. Understand the regulatory requirements and the internal BSA/AML policies, procedures, and processes.Understand and describe; Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Customer Due Diligence policy (CDD), and Office of Foreign Asset Control policy (OFAC). Complete and file appropriate forms in a timely manner; Suspicious Activity Report, Currency Transaction Report, Document CRM consistently as directed by operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Education and Experience
This job requires college level language, math, and reasoning skills. Associate degree and three years' experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in a financial institution with similar responsibilities. Formal position training should include ACH Rules and Regulations and should be supplemented with professional development education.
