JOB PROFILE

As Digital Asset Manager you will work on a dynamic creative team to effectively communicate our brand message and values to our customers while sticking to SAP's overall brand strategy and style. The ideal candidate will require flexibility in that the workload will be split between static graphic design, light motion design or video and user interfaces. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

 

These are some of the responsibilities you will have: 

  • Active support in end-to-end creative multimedia projects (including presentations, visual designs, printed assets, infographics, social media communications, video animations) following SAP corporate design principles. 

  • Templatize reusable assets, supplying the field with customizable yet visually appealing assets that can be quickly taken to market and to customers.

  • Inject creativity into customer-centric design assets using visualization technologies. 

  • Understand time-consumption and effort of different types of requests to effectively manage the team and clients' expectations, as well as establishing well-defined parameters for our stakeholders. 

  • Visually design business content and information through infographics, charts, and illustrations. 

  • Design personalized customer facing content. 

  • Create UI mock-ups with guidance from senior team members. 

  • Animate videos and GIFs for thought leadership and social media content. 

  • Research design trends, and industry best practices. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Visual or Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Multimedia Design or comparable education 

  • Excellent communication skills in English & German required 

  • Understanding of and experience in with design thinkingmethodologies 

  • Ability to turn complex issues into simple, understandable, and well-designed visuals 

  • Must have a thorough understanding of design principles including composition, visual hierarchy, colour, and balance 

  • Have discipline to work independently and collaborate with colleagues in different offices  

  • Hands-on attitude and proactive communication 

  • Management and prioritization of multiple design projects with tight deadlines 

  • Firm grasp of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Premier (AfterEffects is a plus) 

  • Previous experience working with Adobe XD, Figma, InVision or other UI tools 

  • Mandatory for Application: Design Portfolio (attached as file or online portfolio)
