As a Digital Advertising Sales Manager, you will own the entire Advertising Sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and ensuring the digital media buy is properly executed to the client's expectations. You will think outside the box to meet clients' needs, collaborating with the marketing and product teams to create custom advertising packages. You will sell to individual brands and agencies and have connections, particularly with agencies.

Successful Digital Advertising Sales Managers have a strong work ethic and are self-motivated to exceed monthly quotas and KPIs. This role is measured by the ability to close digital ad deals and continually renew your clients. The most successful digital ad Sales Managers understand media buying, digital technology, and working with agencies to meet clients' needs and to grow a roster of ad clients. In addition, this role offers a large personal career growth opportunity. Once you have exceeded your sales quotas, we will lean on you to hire and lead a sales team to 5x digital ad sales at Honeyfund.

The ideal candidate has agency experience, wedding or travel industry experience, a growth mindset, and sees themself leading a team within a short time. Job responsibilities...

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline. Qualify inbound leads through calls and emails, and source outbound leads through existing relationships, promotional events, and networking.
  • Deal management, prioritization, and proposal creation. Utilize the rate card to recommend placements and packages for prospective advertisers and also work collaboratively with marketing and product to create custom packages.
  • Track the sales pipeline and deal flow, ensuring a steady progression towards your monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Own project management and client communication even after the IO has been signed — collaborate with marketing and product to ensure delivery of what the client needs and own all communication with the client to gather assets and receive approval.
  • Analyze campaign performance, create reports and share insights with clients.
  • Some travel required to attend industry conferences and client meetings. (3-4x/year)
  • Substantially grow Honeyfund Digital Advertising Sales to the tune of 5-10x from where we are today. Once you’ve done that, take on team development and management duties, as you grow the sales program and team at Honeyfund.

Skills we'd love you to have...

  • 5+ years of experience in digital ad sales. Wedding, travel, and lifestyle industry experience a plus.
  • Experience working with and selling to agencies required. Existing relationships a big plus.
  • Mar tech experience required - we use Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Previous growth company experience
  • Analytical skills to analyze campaign performance and report insights.
  • Tech savvy. Quick learner of new Digital Advertising tools and platforms, and a passion for AI tools!
