Job Description
Wheelhouse DMG develops and executes digital strategies that deliver exceptional business performance. Our work and our clients are varied but everything we do and every client we work with is focused on the same thing – creating business value. We do this by working in close partnership with our clients to gain a deep understanding of their businesses and then use data science, our team's deep expertise and our own technology to surface and deliver on the most valuable opportunities for our clients – whatever they may be.
Wheelhouse DMG is headquartered in Seattle, but the right candidate can live and work anywhere in the U.S.
We're known for an unusual combination of marketing savvy and technical expertise that produces compelling ROI for our clients. But we're equally known for a few things we also consider sacrosanct – and perhaps even more foundational to our success:
- The transparency and helpful spirit with which we do our work
- The way in which we quickly become full partners in client marketing initiatives
- The care and thoughtfulness that we show our clients
We are looking for a talented digital marketer to join our growing Digital Advertising team! This role will join one of our existing, well-established client teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and enjoys being "in the weeds" in ad accounts and data. They are a collaborative team-player, who works and communicates seamlessly with fellow team members to ensure client outcomes are consistently being achieved.
Who You Are
You are personable, enthusiastic and have a passion for digital marketing and a broad range of experience and interests. You love learning, and perpetually staying up to date with the latest industry changes, while helping to disperse this knowledge among fellow team members. You have a proven track record of consistently driving exceptional performance. You're comfortable speaking the language of data and working closely with a data team.
As a crucial member of the Digital Advertising practice, you will interface with other analysts and clients, therefore you need to be a proactive communicator who is not afraid to ask questions or reach out to team members despite working in a remote environment. Above all though, the team member we seek is kind and considerate and wants to work with others who strive to be the same.
The Role
- Executes effective Digital Advertising tactics across platforms without oversight
- Accurately and efficiently implements new ads, copy, and campaigns
- Executes and maintains tracking parameters with precision
- Manages daily budget pacing
- Develops compelling data backed narratives for clients
- Seeks out projects and initiatives that lead to maximum performance impact
- Maintains subject matter expertise in core practice areas while striving to expand skillset
- Understands basic CRO and creative performance optimization tactics
- Contributes to development and implementation of measurement plans
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years managing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube Ads, and Meta Ads
- 2+ years managing media budgets across platforms and maintaining ROAS / CPA targeting
- 2+ years performing data analysis and data blending in Excel / Google Sheets
- 2+ years in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics preferred)
- Experience utilizing Google Ads Editor to efficiently build and optimize campaigns at scale
- Maintains required Digital Advertising certifications
Beyond Experience: About You
Your love of digital marketing runs deep. You've likely been described as a T-Shaped Marketer, a jack of all trades, or a lifelong learner. You constantly look for new opportunities to connect the dots between marketing tactics and the goals you're working to achieve. And your relentless focus on business performance consistently delivers exceptional results.
You bias toward enabling team members rather than directing or dictating. You thrive in collaborative situations and may have commandeered a whiteboard or two in your day during brainstorming sessions. You're an active listener and are always looking for ways to help clients succeed, be that integrating new marketing tactics, proposing new work, or simply looking for ways to better collaborate. You have high emotional intelligence and empathy and are skilled at delivering feedback in a kind manner.
You are helpful, generous, and empathetic. Wheelhouse values resonate with you, and cynicism has no place in your work. You get joy from helping others to succeed.
What Wheelhouse offers:
- A passionate, joyful, values-driven company culture with the flexibility to work remotely or from our beautiful, waterfront office in Seattle.
