WGN-TV has all the tools to build thoughtful, effective, cross-platform advertising campaigns - we're seeking a digital seller with a "sky's-the-limit" attitude and an innate desire to win.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Digital Account Executive will be responsible for growing WGN-TV's digital advertiser list, developing new digital revenue by leveraging WGN's full suite of digital products - wgntv.com, Connected TV/OTT, Digital Marketing & Social Media services, web design, and more!
The DAE is expected to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with clients through frequent contact in person, telephone and zoom. The successful candidate is entrepreneurial-minded with great attention to detail, a consultative seller with the ability to sell long-term, multi-platform digital marketing solutions. Creativity, initiative, and a firm grasp of "digital" are must-haves!
Requirements/Skills:
- Minimum of two years buying/selling digital advertising in a major market is preferred but not mandatory.
- Requires demonstrable knowledge of common digital platforms (Google, socials, streaming video, etc.)
- Requires analytical and technical skills to analyze campaign data.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with negotiate and influence internal and external contacts.
- Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint a must; familiarity with Matrix, Wide Orbit a bonus.
- Valid Driver's License
