Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (NDTR or DTR)) to support the Medical Nutrition Therapy Department at Methodist Hospitals Southlake Campus located in Merrillville, IN. This 300-bed hospital is located ~40 miles southeast of Chicago.

The successful candidate will:
- perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria;
- provide appropriate nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities;
- plan menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances;
- participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and
- participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks.
