Form of workJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team in the Food Services department. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas. Duties: - Assist with food production, including meal preparation and plating - Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Set up dining areas for meal service, including table settings and condiments - Serve meals to patients or residents according to dietary guidelines - Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed - Adhere to all safety and food handling regulations - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the dietary department Experience: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is a plus - Familiarity with sanitation regulations and safe food handling practices is beneficial - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Join our team as a Dietary Aide and contribute to providing high-quality meals for our patients or residents.
