Dietary Aide Responsibilities
- Serve meals in accordance with establishedportion control procedures
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties
- Set up meal trays, food carts, dining rooms,etc. as instructed
- Assist cook in preparing meals
- Distribute and collect menus as necessary
- Prepare and dispose of food and waste inaccordance with sanitary guidelines
- Ensure that food and supplies for meals arereadily available
- Assist in inventorying and storing in-comingfood, supplies, etc. as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
Preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care
