Dietary Aide/ Culinary Server

Harmony Gardens is hiring Part-Time Dietary Aides/Culinary Servers to join our culinary team. We offer on-the-job training!

In this entry-level role, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives!

Our new campus opened in December 2022 and is only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.

There are Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working a varied schedule including every other weekend.

Part-Time Shifts:Evening (4:00pm to 7:30pm) or Day (6:00am to 2:00pm)
We offer every other weekend shifts as well!

There areOn-Call positions available as well.

What does a Dietary Aide/Culinary Server do?

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What does a Dietary Aide/Culinary Server require?

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
