Diesel Mechanic
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
- Solder and weld as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform tire service as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
- Proficient in soldering and welding techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Physically capable of heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
