Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Location: Thibodaux, LA
LA On Site Fleet Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team in South Louisiana. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for our clients' diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues and ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment
- Documenting all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and hours worked
- Communicating effectively with clients to explain necessary repairs and maintenance procedures
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed
