Transystems is the largest hauler of sugar beets, and we are looking for a Diesel Mechanic Technicianto join our team!
If you are tired of the stale shop environment and want to work at a place where you flex your wrenching muscles and solve a variety of problems, we want to talk to you!
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment mainly. Every day will be different as the sugar beet campaign provides a variety of challenges to be conquered on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance
- Repair tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment, but not limited to those
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the drivers
- Perform some roadside assistance as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience of 2+ years as a truck/Diesel Mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline-focused and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
