Job Description
We are actively seeking skilled Medium to Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Technicians (Class A, B, & C) to join our dynamic team working on Ford, GMC, Hino, Isuzu, Kenworth, Mack, Rosenbauer, and Volvo.
Responsibilities:
As a mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engine industrial trucks in accordance with dealership and factory specifications. Key responsibilities include:
- Efficiently and accurately performing work outlined on repair orders, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and executing necessary repairs.
- Conducting thorough examinations of assigned vehicles to identify additional safety or service requirements.
- Documenting all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Actively participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events to stay updated on industry advancements.
- Staying informed about manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Maintaining accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring their proper storage and condition.
- Adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
- Operating all tools and equipment safely.
Job Requirements:
To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- CDL is a plus.
- Must have own tools.
- Motivated, proactive, focused, and well-organized.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience or more.
