```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, pumps and tractor-trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Conduct inspections and identify any potential problems or safety hazards
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment
- Experience working in indoor and outdoor environments preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects or working in tight spaces
- Valid driver's license with a insurable driving record and ability to pass a DOT Physical
