Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as fuel systems, brakes, and transmissions
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, to move and transport machinery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with dealership or industrial equipment preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
