Position Overview:
Decoking Descaling Technology Inc. (DDT) is seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Maintenance Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Diesel Engine Maintenance Technician at DDT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing diesel engines used in various applications. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines according to manufacturer guidelines.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
· Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments on engine components such as fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical systems.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful completion of maintenance tasks on our pumping units.
· Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each engine.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Eventually, function as Pigging Techniciant assistant been responsible for assisting our Operator in executing D.D.T. projects and understanding our patented pigging process by ensuring that pigging jobs comply with clients' needs guaranteeing the quality of the service. It will work on our equipment setup process at Refineries and follow instructions to build the tools needed for the pigging process.
Job Requirements

- Must be fluent in verbal and written English
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a diesel engine technician or mechanic.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for various diesel engine types.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site maintenance work.
- Ability to work effectively in a refinery environment
- Ability to follow company operating procedures
- TWIC card eligibility is essential
- The successful candidate must pass a drug screening & background check
Place of employment
All shop maintenance work and job preparation will be in DDT’s South Houston, TX location near Hobby Airport. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and attend site operations anywhere in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
