As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview:
The Perinatology Sonographer supports the physician in the delivery of health care to the OB-GYN patient and assists with ultrasound guided procedures, operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment and records images for physician interpretation, performs obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound exams and is responsible for the reliability and quality of tests performed to ensure a high standard of care.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:
- Graduate of an accredited RDMS program with a Radiological Technology degree, or a nursing degree, or a Bachelors in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Maintains licensure/certification in RDMS (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Preferred but not required Fetal Echo registry. BLS is required within 6 months of hire.
