What You Can Expect in this Role
General aviation avionics work is technically challenging and dynamic. No two jobs are the same. Regardless of background and work experience, we’ve found that the most successful technicians start as apprentices and learn the job by shadowing our more experienced technicians. We complement this with other forms of training. As apprentices, we don’t require much real-world experience before starting with us. Interests in aviation, mechanics, electronics, learning, and tinkering are some traits that make avionics apprentices successful.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone exploring how to get started in an aviation career. No previous avionics or aviation experience is required. Energy, attitude, flexibility, and shared values are the top priorities for this job.
Bragg Avionics is an education-focused company. Everyone at every level constantly learns new skills to serve our customers well and operate an effective organization.
After three months as an apprentice, you’ll be eligible to “test up” to a Level 1 Technician. All apprentices must become Level 1 Technicians within six months. We will provide all necessary training and ample learning opportunities to acquire the skills you need to get promoted.
