Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator, you would be responsible to and receives direction from directors, administrators and radiologists. Gives direction to technologist assistants, radiologic technologists, students and other allied health professionals. Works cooperatively with physicians, nurses, radiology market peers and allied health staff, departments throughout Henrico Doctors' Hospital, Human Resources, support services, maintenance, vendor representatives, and integrated finance team.

Supervises and coordinates imaging activities and patient flow in the general diagnostic radiology department.

Plans and schedules work for the assigned unit ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties based on productivity targets.

Also responsible to recruit, select, mentor, coach, develop, discipline, and maintain a staff commitment to putting the needs of the patient first.

    Requires the ability to build and maintain a team of competent professionals. This will be accomplished through ongoing self-development, the promotion of continuous improvement, and by acting as a change agent.

    What qualifications you will need:

    Associates degree Radiology or Technical Diploma in Radiology

    5+ years of experience in Radiology work as well as management responsibilities.

    Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

      Basic Cardiac Life Support
