DevSecOps Engineer, Lead
Key Role:
Apply DevSecOps Engineering experience to help automate and manage Federal agencies to transition an AWS infrastructure for application security. You will be working with application engineering teams on AWS infrastructure automation related to Identity Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and the processes for the following activities. Deploy automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system. Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. Manage the creation, release, and configuration of production systems and their integration ICAM platform capabilities that address Authentication and Authorization capabilities. Perform system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms. Execute pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance using SAST and DAST techniques and methodologies. Provision critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. Lead recommendations for architecture and process improvements and define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on the AWS platform.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services, including ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Lambda
- 3+ years of experience with creating highly automated infrastructures using tools like Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
- Experience with multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
- Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
- Experience with Production Support who can be on call and help troubleshoot errors on the applications and fix the issues
- Knowledge of system administration and the principles of the Cybersecurity ICAM Domain
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance on Cloud service usage and Security measures
- Knowledge of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with coding or scripting languages, including Shell, Ruby or JRuby, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Java, Go, or Bash
- Experience with build tools, including Maven, Ant, NAnt, MSBuild, Rake, or GNU Make
- Experience with Linux or Windows, including Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, Centos, or Fedora
- Experience with continuous integration tools, including Cruise, TeamCity, or Jenkins
- Experience with SCM tools, including Git, SVN, Perforce, or Mercurial
- Knowledge of Rest APIs, Big Data Processing, or Rules Engines to orchestrate the calls to the Rest APIs and other data sources, including Kafka, Snowflake, or AWS S3
- Ability to manage your own time
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science
- AWS Certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
