DevOps Engineer

Extendable Contract position

This role will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing CI/CD and Azure cloud devops requirements. This hands-on position requires technical proficiency, organizational acumen, and a passion for enhancing the developer experience through automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and maintain tools for automating operational processes on internally hosted infrastructure.
• Implement APM, logs, and traces on Datadog for various BBW selling channels (Site, App, Stores).
• Set up Gitlab CI/CD and integrations with Azure cloud environments, Artifactory, automation testing tools, datadog, Hashicorp Vault, Morpheus, Harbor, etc.
• Collaborate with BBW IT Infrastructure to establish Morpheus automation frameworks for fully automating code deployments.
• Support Azure APIM design requirements and monitor Azure cloud deployments and application performance.
• Administer tools and environments to support Digital Operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments.
• Partner with BBW's IT Security to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validations.
• Collaborate with Agile Product teams and stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, trends, and opportunities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or DevOps roles supporting development activities.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Gitlab, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and more.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Groovy, shell, and/or Powershell).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuring/managing databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with build tooling for react.js, node.js, and salesforce commerce cloud applications.
• Knowledge of Morpheus Cloud Automation, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (IBM Sterling OMS, Radial OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Familiarity with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in mission-critical services.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, SonarQube, and other development tools.
