SalaryAs one of our fantastic Support Engineers, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting large-scale, highly-technical, internal products. You will be embedded in a team of internal product engineers, where you will be: creating self-service content, answering frontline support questions, representing the customer in team meetings and product roadmaps.

Developer Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Respond to and triage support questions and support requests from Meta engineers
- Document and build on Developer Support processes and workflows, provide feedback, plan improvements, drive success
- Work with doc team, engineers, product management and engineering leadership to deliver customer feedback and highlight patterns that can help prioritize product features or bug fixes
- Perform bug fixes and other coding tasks as needed.
- Edit and follow technical documentation and run-books to independently research and resolve customer issues
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience in technical support, technical documentation, and/or developer outreach for a developer audience or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience with a programming language such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java, PHP, Python, etc.
- Technical understanding of the general development process of writing code, testing and releasing to production
- Think critically and problem-solve, rapidly assess, analyze and resolve or troubleshoot issues and distill into clear and concise communications
- Work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple assignments and/or responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Meta products
- Fluent in multiple coding languages
- Foundational understanding in process improvement
- Proficient in negotiation and selling ideas
