Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Associate Developer with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance team, you can accelerate the delivery of the next generation of Ariba cloud experience.
Ariba provides critical business processes involving thousands of buying organization, millions of sellers across the globe, and several millions of users.
- Responsible for development focusing on coding, testing, quality assurance of software features in a development team under the mentoring or coaching of an experienced person.
- Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a good level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
- Resolves issues with limited complexity within general work direction and clearly defined framework of departmental / functional guidelines and practices
- General proficiency with tools and procedures required to accomplish the job
- Develops collaborative work relationships within own team and within limited scope cross-functional
- Communicates within works assignment clearly, in a way that others can understand
- Communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback within the team
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field of study and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field of study.
Work Experience:
Position requires prior experience, internship or academic coursework to include each of the following:
- Solid knowledge on data structures and basic knowledge on systems design.
- Java, Spring boot, Redis, Kafka
- SQL, GitHub and Unix Shell;
- SDLC, TDD, Agile and Kanban;
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge on implementing REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Relational Databases like SQL Server and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate).
- Knowledge on UI development languages and frameworks such as typescript, angular would be a plus.
- 1 to 2 years SAP internship experience preferred
