Desktop Support Technician description: Primary responsibilities: Client is looking for a lower-level technical person; this can be someone new to the business, recently out of tech school, etc. This position will primary be involved in configuring pcs for deployment. This role will also include Tracking inventory, packing devices in protective packaging to prevent damage, packing devices on Pallets and shipping/receiving equipment from the loading docks utilizing pallet jacks. Work in the IT Configuration Center. Physically Rack PCs for imaging, maintain spreadsheet of devices and the state of the image, troubleshoot devices that fail the image, Physically Un-rack the devices and prep inventory (PC and other stock) for shipments to remote sites. Must also perform some break/fix and end user assistance -Please list your top 2 required skills: Configuration and imaging Excellent CSAT, Customer Service Skills -Please list any nice to have certifications or skill sets: Active Directory knowledge a must and experience a plus, CompTIA A+, Imaging experience is a must -What will the work schedule be for this position?
