Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 214 radiologists, 44 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we are looking for: TheDesktop Support Specialist is responsible for system, desktop and applications support; software and hardware maintenance; troubleshooting; desk phone and mobile maintenance and support; and other duties as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Log, prioritize and resolve helpdesk tickets in accordance with company policy.
- Troubleshoot errors with desktop applications and hardware.
- Support and troubleshoot conferencing systems in support of systems engineer.
- Perform software and desktop hardware upgrades.
- Deploy, support, and troubleshoot mobile devices.
- Setup and maintain all end user applications, including Microsoft Office suite and other business applications.
- Plan and set-up of equipment.
- Troubleshoot errors with on-site and off-site clinical systems and applications, using additional internal or external resources when necessary.
- Respond to desktop and end user security incidents in support of Security Team.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within the end user community.
- Perform system checks and back-ups.
- Maintain user instructions.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or related) field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate help desk or Desktop Support role
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to end users with varying degrees of technical knowledge
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Competency with Nerf Gun Operations
