Role Overview:
Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems under the supervision of their superior or an experienced Desktop Support Analyst. Responds to telephone calls, email, service requests and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Able to quickly apply learning in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment of their supervisor to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks to meet the roles needs. A good degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The starting salary for this position is between $24.00 - $34.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Role Responsibilities:

  • Provides Support
  • Provide hardware and software support to local and remote associates and offices
  • Troubleshoot associate hardware and software issues
  • Support computer and related system repairs
  • May work with vendors in troubleshooting and supporting system
  • May work with clients to resolve issues with systems
  • Instruct associates on usage of software and hardware as needed
  • May travel to remote sites as needed to provide support
  • Configure and Maintain Systems
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software
  • Configure and install software on systems
  • Recommend and maintain documentation
  • Support the management of equipment inventory
  • Support the management of equipment disposal process
  • Purchase IT related items
  • May work with vendors to obtain quotes and purchase hardware, software and other IT related equipment and services within allotted budget
  • Research hardware capability for new products and make appropriate recommendations for purchase
  • Performs Miscellaneous Duties
  • Support the creation or update to training materials as needed
  • Assist other IT personnel as needed
  • Work on special projects and other functions as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
