PRIMARY FUNCTION
To develop a 3d model based on checking fixture design standards, product and GD&T
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides technical guidance to employee, colleagues and/or customers
- Develop customer quotes base on supplied content
- Assist with Managing Design Leads
- Assure that tool designs get done on time and under budget
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Follow larger projects
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with UG NX12
- Knowledge of General Motors Checking Fixture Standards a plus
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and WebEx
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to function with minimal supervision
- GD & T knowledge
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, time management, materials, tool assembly and inspection a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
