A Sales Design Consultant with Budget Blinds involves showing people our beautiful custom window coverings and helping them select the best solutions for their homes. The company has access to a wide array of additional custom home products including rugs, duvets, bedspreads, comforters, throw pillows and shams The Franchise is family owned and has four territories in the Nashville Metro area. This position would be focused on Springfield, Portland and adjacent areas. The company has an excellent reputation in the area which generates excellent referrals. The company has a solid marketing program to provide leads and there is a significant opportunity given the continuing growth in the area. This is a realistic six figure income opportunity. Prior window covering sales experience strongly preferred but open to related experience with the proper sales capability.
Responsibilities
Follow up on company supplied leads & work with local builders and associations to build your own sales funnel
Work closely with owners and staff in a family atmosphere to continuously improve the company & your support
Commision structure provides for exceptional income

• Schedule in home consultations promptly
• Offer exceptional customer service and design advice
• Accurately measure windows and place orders for products
• Discuss your job details with installers when necessary
• Document all sales communications
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly
• Follow up on all leads and pending sales to closure
• Stay current on Window Treatment trends and product changes
• Participate in sales meetings and periodic training

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience strongly preferred
• Excellent, clean driving record, must pass background and check
• Good correspondence & math skills
• Enjoy meeting and helping homeowners enhance their homes
• Proficient in standard computer programs
• Must be able to climb stairs and lift 20 lbs.
• Measure overhead and while on a 6-foot ladder (laser measurement tools provided)
• Honest, Respectful and Service Oriented required

Nice to have

• Experience with window coverings including drapery is strongly preferred
• Previous experience with invoicing is helpful
• Experience with a CRM strongly preferred
