Summary
Ideas United is offering a summer internship to a few creative, hardworking individuals who are curious about pursuing careers in the creative world! Summer interns will discover, hands-on, what working in a fast-paced agency is all about.
Are you a student looking to build real-world graphic design experience in a creative studio setting? We are looking for an intern with diverse ideas, a sharp eye and lots of questions. We are thrilled to support the new generation of creatives by opening a door to how an agency works. We can't guarantee that we are like any other studio, but we can promise you will gain valuable insights to turn ideas into reality through collaboration, strategy and creativity with experienced professionals in your field.
Internship runs June 4 to August 1
$1800 per month
What you'll do:
- Learn the role and responsibilities of each team within iU
- Work closely with your intern manager that will guide and assign your tasks
- Shadow projects and gain knowledge of the project lifecycle
- Attend meetings and participate in project brainstorms
- Gain hands-on experience performing coordinator tasks for iU projects
- Work with fellow interns on an internal, live project
- Creative support in day-to-day operations with the design leads
- Assist in the production of print, digital and web design using Adobe Creative Suite
- Learn how to craft design concepts that infuse cognitive, strategic and practical processes
What you'll have:
- Passion and desire to learn about the creative industry
- Off the charts curiosity and a take-action attitude
- Bravery to ask all the questions
- Connection to the iU purpose and mission
- Availability to work during the entire summer program
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in web based prototyping such as Figma or XD is preferred, but not required
- Enthusiastic demeanor
- Ability to receive feedback well
