Anchor Talent has partnered with a South East Dallas manufacturer, who is looking to hire a Design Engineer. The Design Engineer will ensures the integrity, functionality, and cost-effectiveness of product designs.. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and collaborative skills to drive product innovation while ensuring manufacturing efficiency and meeting quality standards.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure proper qualifications are met
- Develop and improve design parameters to meet customer costs and requirements
- Utilize CAD software to create designs, modify existing designs, visual renderings, and assembly instructions.
- Investigate and resolve product and quality issues or concerns
- Perform tests and assessments to determine the operational characteristics of products
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Associates in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- System experience: Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Be a team player in a very fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently
