Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop knowledge of the mechanical components of Double E’s Product line
• Process orders for products sold all over the world and review customer applications to ensure products are properly specified
• Design products specific to customer applications and requirements
• Work closely with sales, customer service, purchasing and materials departments to ensure product quality and on-time delivery
• Create CAD drawings and representations for customer orders
• Perform engineering support for application engineers and product managers

Requirements:

• BSME or equivalent technical degree
• Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Basic knowledge of mechanical principles like torque, tension, loading and deflection
• Good communication skills - able to work well within a team and communicate with customers
• Knowledge of Pro/Engineer
