- Maintain existing designs and develop new products and processes to meet customer and identified market needs.
- Lead the engineering team in new product design and development.
- Work with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to determine build vs. source options and coordinate activities with customers and suppliers.
- Support full product lifecycle through the product design, development and production process including testing, documentation, and manufacturing.
- Specify materials, process, and details in all phases of development and manufacturing.
- Supervise completion of project documentation including build instructions, drawings, bill of materials, test specifications, change notices, etc.
- Plan and prioritize design and development activities to ensure progress and accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
