Job Summary

Rockford Homes is looking for a Design Center Consultant to display our new home plan features and options to our customers. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for assisting buyers in the selection of all standard, upgrade and custom options for all floor plans, documenting and processing of selections; and distributing change orders.

Job Responsibilities

· Display Rockford Homes standard features and values to New Home Buyers.

· Provide buyers with product information, available upgrade options, and pricing information.

· Assist buyers with decision making by determining needs, wants, and budget.

· Work with customers custom option change requests as needed.

· Work with the appropriate vendors to achieve custom option change request drawings along with the companies estimating department as needed.

· Distribute change orders to appropriate team members.

· Enforce company policies.

· Assist in special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.

• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.

Job Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Experience of 1-2 years withprevious new home sale design or new home sale experience.

· Strong Interpersonal skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to utilize Rockford’s software applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Reporting Relationship

· This position will report to Sales & Design Manager.
