Form of workA health services organization in Ohio is currently seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant to join one of their practices in Akron, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
The Physician Assistant will:
- Identify various dermatological conditions through clinical examination, patient history, and sometimes diagnostic tests like skin biopsies or patch testing
- Provide both medical and procedural treatments for various skin issues
- Manage chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea, providing ongoing care and treatment plans to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life
- Diagnose and treat various infectious skin diseases, including bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, as well as sexually transmitted infections affecting the skin
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and overall skin health
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio
- 1+ year of experience in Dermatology
