Our busy private Dermatology Practice is looking for an energetic, outgoing, friendly, self-motivated Medical Assistant to join our team!
We are looking for a person who can; multi-task, enter patient information on an iPad, support our doctor's with a positive and supportive attitude, learn about delivering exemplary patinet care. Patient care is our number one priority. Your ability to provide excellent communication and customer service is essential.
Prior MA experience a plus, but not required. No formal certification required.
*Please Note* We do appreciate some flexibility since we need to cover both day and night shifts (we have evening hours until roughly 7 pm 1-2 nights a week and Saturdays until 1/1:30 pm 1-2 times a month). Required Qualifications
The candidate must have:
- Friendly disposition and customer service skills.
- High School diploma/GED
- Ability to work on an iPad and other computer skills - Required
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Exemplary customer service skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full Time (Monday - Friday) Preferred
- Minimum of (1-2) years of Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with EMR experience very helpful
- Excellent communication skills and a passion to work together as a team
- Exceptional customer service (previous customer service experience is a plus).
- Ability to learn about skin anatomy and related medical/cosmetic treatments.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Well-organized with attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management.
- Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.
- Ability to work well with physicians by anticipating their needs with regards to patient care.
