Deposition Coordinator

Workers’ Compensation Defense Law Firm seeking a Deposition Coordinator.

Deposition experience required. Workers’ Compensation experience preferred.

Individual must be self-motivated, highly organized, able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a pleasant phone personality.

General Job Duties include:

Preparation of an incoming file for depositions, logging file, checking due dates, researching doctors’ names/addresses when unknown, monitoring file to see if extension letter is required;

Preparation of Subpoenas, Notice to Take Depositions, Confirmation letters and Extension Affirmations;

Making/receiving any and all phone calls regarding depositions including, but not limited to scheduling, rescheduling, cancelling and confirming depositions with claimant’s attorneys, court reporters, doctors’ offices, and claim’s examiners;

Coordinates with court reporting agencies regarding depositions.

Uploading transcripts and affidavits.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Position available immediately: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Potential for remote days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
