Job Description
This position serves as an organization liaison between MGCB, Attorney General, the Department of Treasury's Regulatory Affairs, and Michigan Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules (MOAHR) in the facilitation of the administrative rules promulgation process. This position is responsible for the execution of various procurement duties, serving as the secondary procurement resource for the agency. This position also manages the agency's pool vehicles and analyzes vehicle records, processes millionaire party documents and serves as the Lansing office resource for Disassociated Person List (DPL).

The Michigan Gaming Control Board may consider alternative and remote work schedule requests based on the operational needs of the work area. MGCB's main office is located at 3062 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI, however, MGCB has a satellite office in Lansing and offices located in Greektown Casino, MGM Grand - Detroit, and MotorCity Casino. Not all MGCB positions have the capability to work remotely due to the nature of the position. For positions approved to work remotely, MGCB requires a minimum of two in-office days each week. Periodic onsite teamwork, collaboration, and communication with peers and leaders is required for all positions and is essential to the position's success and MGCB's mission and values. Selected candidates approved to work remotely, or a hybrid schedule (combination of remote and in-office), must complete that work within Michigan. Remote work will be determined by management and is not an entitlement. Employees will be provided computers and other essential items necessary to perform state work. Employees working remotely will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.

The Board also conducts a personal reference screening, criminal background check, drug testing and federal and state tax transcript, including fingerprinting candidates prior to a conditional offer of employment. Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
