Department of Public Works Laborer

Thomas Township is seeking applicants for a full time Laborer position in the Department of Public Works. Duties include work in the areas of sewer, water, parks, and building/grounds maintenance. A high school diploma or G.E.D. and one year of related experience are required. An S-4 water license will be required within six months of hire. A Michigan CDL may be required. Applicant must be capable of performing hard labor and walking significant distances in adverse weather conditions. Pay range for the position is from $18.14 to $22.32 per hour. Additional increases are possible for attaining higher water license levels. This is an S.E.I.U. position.
