Responsibilities
- Comforts patients and parents by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions.
- Requires regular and predictable attendance.
- Follows up with referring doctors and patients to communicate patient's treatment status.
- Educate patients on recommended treatment.
- Follows the schedule protocols for follow-ups with patients to schedule treatment and routine hygiene visits.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Completes Medical Consults for patients as needed.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Provides knowledge of third-party financing to patients and educates patients on financial commitments of treatment.
- Knowledge of dental insurance to explain cost breakdown to patients.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Provides phone support with incoming calls to address patient needs.
- Assist with insurance verification as needed on a daily basis.
- Greet patients in a welcoming manner and obtain required demographics/updated medical histories.
Qualifications
- Dental: 1 year (Required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
- Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
