We are seeking an Oral Surgery Sterilization Technicianto join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Your day to day responsibilities include working under the supervision of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety You will be an integral part of the team with a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for learning and growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
The scrub surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she has a strong understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she needs the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
We have found that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories:
●Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery experience is preferred
●Maintains highest standard of sterile technique during procedure
●Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedure
●Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedure
●Demonstrates superior communication skills
●Experienced with customer service techniques
●Proven track record or growth

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Buckhead, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
