Infinia Dental Lab is a rapidly growing Dental Lab in Maryland, and we're on the lookout for a skilled Dental Lab Technician to join our team. If you're an experienced dental professional with a passion for creating top-notch dental prostheses and enjoy working closely with dental surgeons and clinical staff, this position offers an exciting opportunity for you. As a Dental Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in the production and adjustment of dental prostheses, contributing to the success of All-on-X cases.
Responsibilities:
- All-on-X Cases: Assist in the planning and preparation of All-on-X cases, a cutting-edge and transformative dental procedure.
- Chairside Presence: Attend chairside during dental surgeries to immediately adjust and fit provisional prostheses upon implant placement.
- Conversion Expertise: Utilize your expertise to modify and convert dentures into fixed provisional prostheses, ensuring precise fit, occlusion, and esthetics.
- Collaborative Role: Collaborate closely with dental surgeons and clinical staff to make real-time adjustments to prostheses as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
- Technical Skills: Utilize Dental Lab equipment and tools, including articulators, lathes, and milling machines for on-the-spot modifications, showcasing your technical prowess.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all dental prostheses meet clinical and laboratory protocols and adhere to our rigorous quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of the conversion process and effectively communicate case details with the rest of the clinical team.
- Hygiene and Organization: Uphold a clean and orderly workplace, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly sterilized.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest dental materials, technology, and techniques relevant to All-on-X conversions, allowing you to provide the best service possible.
- Treatment Design: Utilize specialized software to design and plan implant treatments, contributing to the success of dental procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of treatment proposals, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle any issues that may arise during the planning phase, demonstrating your problem-solving abilities.
- Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on the latest implant treatment techniques and software tools to stay at the forefront of your field.
Requirements
- Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills are a must, and we'll assess your abilities during the initial interview.
- Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.

- CAD Experience: While CAD experience is preferred, it's not a strict requirement. We are committed to providing the necessary training for the right candidate to ensure success in this role.
- A minimum of 1 year working as a dental assistant.
