About the Role:

As our Dental Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient insurance billing and processing for our patients. You will be the bridge between our practice and insurance companies, working to maximize patient benefits and minimize financial burdens.

Responsibilities:

- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients

- Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as necessary

- Review and process insurance claims

- Ensure accurate coding of dental procedures and diagnoses

- Maintain patient records and update insurance information

- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues

- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and concerns

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for claims

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

- Proficient in CDT coding systems

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with insurance verification processes

- Experience working in a medical or dental office setting

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

We are willing to train if you have no dental experience, but you must have a positive attitude, attention to detail, organization, great work ethic, and ability to learn quickly.

Expected working hours

Mon-Wed: 7:45am-6:30pm

Thur: 6:45am-5:30pm

*1 hour lunch every day
