Dental Hygienist Hiring Asap

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive dental office environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials
- Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history reviews
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care

Qualifications:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in performing dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding related to dental procedures
- Experience working in a dental office setting preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Proficiency in using computer systems for managing patient records (experience with CAD software is a plus)
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
