Dental Front Office

OVERVIEW

We are a locally owned (non-corporate) cosmetic, family, and implant dentistry seeking a dynamic and personable individual for a Front Office position. Front office team members are ambassadors to the public, so an outgoing and cheerful demeanor is absolutely essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills as well as a strong ability to multi-task are required. REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

- 2 years minimum experience in a Dental Front Office

- Proficiency with Front Office insurance/billing tasks (EOB’s, claims, billing, aging reports, etc.)

- Competency with Dentrix

- Competency with Microsoft Office

- Outgoing, cheerful, and friendly demeanor with attention to details

- Back office (DA) experience is very helpful, as it helps with scheduling

- Skills training is part of the position so we are looking for someone with a growth mentality

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow all Start of Day protocols

- Maintain high level of patient service at all times

- Function as part of a team with excellent communication

- Verification of dental benefits

- Insurance claims and pre-authorizations

- Collection of payments

- Patient scheduling

- Answer phones, appointment confirmations, miscellaneous call duties

- Greeting and checking in patients

- Meticulous and detailed patient records (schedule notes, journal, ledger)

- Maintenance of a clean, pleasant, and professional work environment

- Possible assistance with presentation of treatment plans

- Various insurance payment processing tasks

- Follow all End of Day protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
