Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Assistant, you are an essential member of our administrative team. You will partner with our talented doctors who are committed to providing excellent dental care to our patients. Responsibilities for the role include:
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Schedule appointments
- Answering patient care calls
- Verifying patient insurance prior to patient appointment
- Creating accurate treatment plans
- Collecting copays at time of service
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
- Document and update patient personal and insurance information in Open Dental
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and regulations
- Interact with Front Desk, Dental Assistants, and other Hygienists daily, in a cooperative and friendly manner
- Provide outstanding written and verbal communications skills
