Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 DOE/E + Monthly Bonus

Full time: M – F; 8am – 5:30pm; Flexible schedule
A well-established, patient-centric private endodontic office in Colorado Springs has an immediate need for a committed and efficient Clinical Assistant to join our team. The assistant supports endodontic dental care delivery by offering chairside procedure assistance, sterilization, dental imaging, and patient care. The ideal candidate is naturally upbeat, possessing time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively while preserving a positive teamwork environment.
Job Duties:
· Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
· Prepares patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
· Provides diagnostic information by administering quality dental x-rays.
· Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
· Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for endodontist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments and anticipating needs throughout the treatment appointment.
· Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth.
· Documents dental care services by charting in patient notes and final reports to dentists.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adheres to infection-control policies and protocols.
· Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt.
· Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements & Experience:
· DA, X-ray and CPR certification required (DA EDDA preferred).
· At least 2 years of applicable experience (preferred).
· Knowledge of dental software (preferred).
· Excellent communication skills, high energy, and ability to multi-task.
· Team player and dependable self-starter.
