Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history forms
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures
- Proficiency in dental software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical information
Note: Experience as a dental receptionist or assistant is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
