Qualifications Needed:
- Ability to proficiently do Crowns, Implants, Pack Cord, and General Dentistry
- Experience with Invisalign, checking their fit, and placing attachments
- Experience with Traditional Ortho, bonding brackets, and removing/replacing ligatures
- Proficient with the Itero Scanner
- Proficient with placing gingival barrier for office whitening

Compensation:$27 hourly to start depending on skills
Responsibilities:- Measure and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed
- Support dentists and dental hygienists by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team during procedures or examinations
- Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
- Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
- Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Must be able to fabricate aesthetic well-fitting temporaries
- Must be familiar with Invisalign including taking records, placing attachments, and scanning
- Must be skilled in basic assisting such as but not limited to suctioning, packing cord, accurate notes, and explaining treatment to patients
- Must pass a reference check
- State licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
- Certification or Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered Dental Assistant or certified Dental Assistant
- Current BLS/CPR certification is required
- Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
