About the Position:
This position will be a right fit for an experienced Dental Assistant who truly enjoys serving patients and has a sincere desire to grow in the field. You will be provided with many opportunities to develop your assisting skills by working with top doctors and staff. As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), your primary responsibility is to deliver a "memorable experience" by providing patients with the highest quality of care.
For this position, we offer a generous compensation package that includes above-the-market base pay plus a monthly office goal bonus.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients with an excellent chair-side manner.
- Learn and perform scripts at each stage of the appointment to guide patients and curate a memorable experience.
- Assist the doctor with all dental procedures and patient charting.
- Take accurate and high-quality radiographs.
- Perform various laboratory duties, including Provisionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
- Verify and document patients' health history appropriately in their charts.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment, tools, and operatories.
- Follow all OSHA and BBP (Bloodborne Pathogen) federal guidelines.
- Track incoming and outgoing lab cases.
- Assist hygienist(s) when requested.
- Monitor the level of dental supplies and order as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to you by your supervisor.

What we are really looking for is a Dental Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Exceptions can be made for those with less experience who can compensate with their determination, personality, and commitment to exceptional service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current radiography certification required.
- Dental Assistant certification as required by the state.
- Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred.
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation is preferred.
- Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training as required by law.

Ortho assisting is not necessary but it’s a big plus.
